So many actvities....so many pictures.....so little blogging

We really have been busy lately. Really we have. Here are just a few of our highlights...

  • AWANA Awards at church. Rheagan received a special plaque for finishing both books. Way to go Rheagan and Alayna.

  • Field day - sporting several new ribbons in all shades of the rainbow to put on the cork board. (The Feisty Flamingos won the 2nd grade award!)

  • Mother's Day -lunch at the Cleveland Country Club with MH and Mimi. A delicious lunch and great company. Have I mentioned I have WONDERFUL Christian role models of MOMs? Thanks to you both!

  • After the lunch we came home to set up the Mother's Day present - a new TV. Amazing the quality of newer electronics.

  • a spend-the-night party first - ON A WEEKDAY. Yes - we broke all cardinal rules and let Rhea spend the night with her buddy on Wednesday.

  • Soccer games galore. Rheagan has watched 3 games this week with her Lady Flames team. We traveled down the road to watch Cleveland beat Ooltewah in the region semi-finals. The CHS soccer team won the sub-state game tonight. It was very exciting. Congrats Johnny B and the boys. Good luck this week.

  • Rheagan had her dance dress rehearsal and recital this week. It was precious. Her tap was to the HSM song "Fabulous". The ballet song was a Celtic version of "Jesus Loves Me". Thanks to Jen, Kathy and girls, and Molls for coming.

And what about Tripp, you ask. Well, it's called being "along for the ride" in all these activities. His day will come. He stopped just long enough today to get a picture.... the face says it all.

Spend-the-night-party on a school night? Egad - the horrors. What will be next? Britney Spears-like clothing? LOL

Sometimes you do have to relax the rules.....
