Tripp playing soccer. No Wait Golf. No Wait ....

Here are the pictures of Tripp that I mentioned yesterday. I caught him in the act in his soccer apparel - yes soccer shoes, soccer shirt, and soccer shorts. (If he knew he was suppose to have on shin guards, he'd wear those, too) As you can see, I caught him playing golf, too. What you don't see is football, basketball, baseball, tennis and NASCAR interests that he tried out today, too. So many sports, so little time. He sleeps so well at night (surprise surprise!)
An update on Sugar Rhea's game - won! Her team is so much fun to watch.

Soccer Gal

Here are a few shots of Rheagan's game tonight. She plays half-back for the Lady Flames 99 (a u-9 team). She's played 4 games this week and will have another one tomorrow.
I must get a picture of Tripp to post. He also gets "game ready" with his cleats on. He does his best to keep up with the big girls. One day he'll be a "real" soccer player.

Congrats Trevor!

Here's how I saw the 2008 Masters Champion. I'll keep looking through the hundreds of pictures to see if I spotted him again on another hole. This is the 6th tee box. He was playing with Ben Crenshaw this practice round.

Try-a-thon and Try-a-haircut

Rheagan and Tripp both had big days today. Rhea participated in the YMCA Try-a-thon. She ran a mile, rode a mile, and swam 4 laps of the pool. If I'm not mistaken, she came in first in her age group. This is her 2nd year to do this and loves it. The are before and after shots of Rheagan and Taylor. Taylor is a buddy on Rheagan's select soccer team. It seems that MANY people, including me, get them mixed up on the field. Same size, same hair color, same height, same way to wear their hair, play same position but different sides of the field....... Rhea is #32 and Taylor is #23.

Tripp has been needing a hair cut for quite a while, and today I got my money's worth. You'll find pictures of his before and after.

Priceless

Playing a round of golf on Sunday with 3 experienced golfers..... intimidating.
Only eating a late lunch and dinner because it would interfere with golf....... weakening.
Dressing for 2 Spring days on a golf course in shorts but needed winter gear..... chilling.

Walking through the gates at Augusta National Golf Course to watch a practice round of golf with a camera..... PRICELESS!

My dad, Mack and I were asked to join a true friend at the practice round at the Masters on Monday. What an experience. I'm not sure what the best part of our day was though. We saw golfers in their prime playing a VERY hard game but made it look like a child could do it. We saw the course looking gorgeous. (Be prepared for unbelievable beauty by Sunday.) We had awesome cheap food. We bought way too much in the pro shop - but who knows when you'll be back, right? My time at the Masters was absolutely incredible. Pictures will come in a day or so. I only took 300+ pictures. Let me find my favorite 5 or 6 to show you. Trust me, though, pictures don't do it justice.

TR - thanks for the opportunity. Hopefully we can give you the chance of a lifetime someday, too.
